Research
For more than 25 years, Masaharu has been focusing on the research regarding Balneology and Rehabilitation Medicine. In the Balneotherapy area, he is the one of the most famous scientist from Natural hot springs to Artificial bicarbonate springs through basic experiments and he has published and presented the results of our research both in Japan and abroad. In addition, he is dedicated in the human resource development involving hot spring and health. “Senior ONSEN programmer” trained by Japan Health and Research Institute (followed by the curriculum produced by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) is an essential condition for application of ONSEN health promotion facilities.
He has also dedicated in stroke rehabilitation, rheumatoid arthritis, Physical therapy and Orthosis therapy.
