        Devoted to the thermal industry for 20 years, Jeff has led the planning and technical consulting work of more than 100 hot spring tourism and tourism real estate projects. Jeff has made unremitting efforts to transform the leisure and sight-seeing oriented thermal tourism toward wellness and medical-care orientation.

Jeff has been invited to a range of international thermal conferences hosted by FEMTEC（World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy），OMTh（World Hydro thermal Organization），ISMH（International Society of Medical Hydrology and Climatology），and Japanese Spa Association, etc.

Jeff has led and participated in the drafting and formulation of 4 national-level and industrial-level hot spring and Spa service standards. Meanwhile, his major academic works include An Introduction to Hot Springs Project Planning and Development, Tourism Geography and Hot Spring Vacation, and the translation of Balneotherapy of Yoshinori Otsuka.

In 2012 and 2016, Jeff was awarded Certificate of Merit by FEMTEC, to honour his work to promote thermalism and heath spa as well as hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy in China. In 2017 , Jeff attained Lifetime Achievement Award of the third China Hot Spring Golden Soup Award.
