Chongqing’s Aid for Tibet in Hot Spring Industry Has Made a New Breakthrough

To effectively fulfill the national strategy of aiding Tibet, following the guidance of Hot Spring Industry Office, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, Asia-Pacific Institute for Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy Tourism （APIHC） will explore a way for aiding Tibet in the hot spring industry and promote the sustainable and healthy development of local cultural tourism with Leiwuqi Office, Chongqing Aiding Changdu Headquarters.

After one year’s full communication and on-site surveys with Leiwuqi Office, Ma Bin, director of Hot Spring Industry Office, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, leaded Wang Jie and his team of APIHC to Leiwuqi County to investigate the hot spring resources. At the meeting, both sides had in-depth communication on the hot spring resources in Leiwuqi and agreed that Leiwuqi hot spring has great value in tourism development and derivative products development. 

Leiwuqi Municipal People's Government, Leiwuqi Office, Hot Spring Industry Office, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and APIHC signed the "Leiwuqi Hot Spring Industry Developmental Strategic Cooperation Agreement". The Quartet will give full play to their respective advantages and carry out in-depth cooperation in resources, fund, technology, R&D, management, talents, and markets. At the same time, they will combine the regional and cultural characteristics of Leiwuqi and develop a batch of hot springs tourism projects and derivative products.
