In order to further promote the integrative development of hot springs and cultural industries and help the historical hot spring tourist resorts like the South Hot Spring to upgrade forward, the South Hot Spring Cultural Salon was held in Lijun Hotel in the South Hot Spring Park. This salon was hosted by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and the People’s Government of Chongqing Ba’nan District, organized by Chongqing Ba’nan Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, and implemented by Chongqing Hot Spring Tourism Industry Association and APIHC. Wang Jie, director of APIHC, served as the host of the salon.
The South Hot Spring Cultural Salon
Experts and entrepreneurs from universities, tourism industry, hotel industry and hot spring industry in Chengdu, Dalian, Chongqing and other places gave a speech at the salon, to offer advice and suggestions for the development of hot spring tourism and the creation of creative hot springs tourist destination. Focusing on the theme of "slow soup, slow tea, slow life", they talked about the hot spring culture in Bayu culture, the integrative development of hot spring culture, Chinese culture, comparative study on the hot spring culture in China and Japan, and the development of hot spring hotels and hot spring resorts.

After visiting the South Hot Spring Park, two masters of Chinese culture: Professor Xiong Du and Professor Li Mengde, improvised two poems and completed the calligraphy works and presented them to Chongqing Ba’nan Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development.
