The Corporate Consultation Meeting of "The Standards for Chongqing Hot Springs and Climate Wellness" Held in Beibei District

      On October 14, The Corporate Consultation Meeting of "The Standards for Chongqing Hot Springs and Climate Wellness" ("The Series of Standards" for short, including "The Construction and Evaluation Standards for Chongqing Hot Spring Wellness Demonstration Bases", "The Service Specifications of Chongqing Hot Spring Wellness ", and “The Construction and Evaluation Standards for Chongqing Climate Wellness Demonstration Bases") was held in Beibei District. This meeting was jointly organized by Asia-Pacific Institute for Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy Tourism (APIHC) and Chongqing Hot Spring Tourism Industry Association. 8 representatives of hot spring enterprises attended the meeting.

      The compiling group introduced and interpreted the main content of the standards. Wang Qi, the deputy secretary of Chongqing Hot Spring Tourism Industry Association, and Wang Jie, the director of APIHC, both made supplementary explanations on the standards respectively.

      Based on the actual situations of hot spring enterprises and the development trend of the hot spring industry, representatives of various enterprises put forward specific suggestions and opinions on the standards.

      All representatives agreed that the series of standards are important to the standardized development of the hot spring industry in Chongqing and can promote the transformation of the hot spring industry from leisure to wellness. They would fully participate in the relevant work, and follow the subsequent evaluation of demonstration bases.

      Next, the compiling team will consider the opinions and suggestions from all parties and combine the actual demands of the enterprises to further deepen and refine the standards, and pay attention to its normativity, scientificity and applicability, striving to complete standards early.
